My daughter requested a tinkerbell cake for her birthday (she turned 3 today). So this is what I came up with. Ive never decorated a cake before. I have only ever done basic icing, so I was VERY pleased with these results. Not professional or anything, I just thought that I would add it for inspiration? The base is a basic white cake mix that I actually turned pink. The top (circle) is chocolate cake. It was done with homemade buttercream icing. The flowers and butterflies were cut out of fondant (I didnt have any shape cuters), and the larger flower outlines, and the writing was done by hand. But Im proud of it lol.
