My sister and I were giving my parents a 50th anniversary dinner....the cake became my responsibility. After checking around I realized I couldn't afford a $250-$300 cake and decided to bake it myself. My sister was, to say the least, skeptical and before it was over I was a nervous wreck. I had no idea that a cake this heavy was suppose to have layer supports.... it was transported almost 100 miles. My sister and my mother were both very shocked but delightfully surprised that I pulled it off. TFL
