A customer saw this cake in my Cake Central magazine and had to have it. This is a 4 layer 8 inch round vanilla cake iced in buttercream. The tree is buttercream with fondant leaves. The girl is fondant and the butterflies are fondant and colored with edible markers. The grass and sky is painted with food color. My version doesn't compare to the original but I thought it turned out pretty good, I made a net from fondant but I broke it beyond repair so I did one in buttercream on the cake.
