Made from scratch Italian Cream Cake, 6 in, sq. and 8 in. sq. covered in purple MMF. Decorations made with black MMF and beads. I bought the silver trimming from the Christmas dept. at Walmart. The purple has a pretty shimmer from painting it with water and Luster Dust. The cake was frosted with buttercream made with butter flavored Crisco. It traveled for 4 hours to it's destination. I used 4 wooden dowels in the bottom layer, then tapped wooden skewers all the way through the two layers and the cardboard in between to make sure it wouldn't shift.
