I made this cake for my daughter's 9th birthday. The bottom tier is chocolate butter cake filled with coffee buttercream, walnuts and caramel sauce. The top tier is a jewel box made with fondant and candy gems. The orange gem is mango flavor, pink is strawberry, blue is blueberry and red is raspberry. My daughter decorated the cookies and put them inside the box. I wanted to put Hello Kitty fondant figure on the edge of the bottom tier but it looked too busy so I let it sit on the cake board.
