This was such an awesome cake!!! It started with a sheet of vanilla butter cake, then a 'belly and breasts' were added in sour cream pound cake. This cake was for a woman having a baby boy, but she was so feminine and her entire pregnancy was 'all about the belly' that a belly cake was the perfect choice! Using fondant in the shades of the theme of the shower, I gave it a feminine touch with a lace like bottom with deglaces, and butterflies! The Mommy to be was thrilled!!!
