This cake was for an 8 yr. old little girl, and it's based on the paper plates and napkins used for the party- the theme being "glitzy girl." The one definite request from the girl was for a shoe on top of the cake, which I hadn't done before. The top tier is chocolate cake with buttercream filling, the bottom tier is yellow butter cake with chocolate ganache filling, and all is covered in buttercream with mmf decorations. The shoe is 1/2 mmf, 1/2 gumpaste. I also had a pink feather boa that I was going to glue to the cakeboard but decided to just circle it around the cake, so then the little girl could play with it later. TFL!
