This was made baking an oblong cake x2 and shaping the top cake into an open book. I covered cake with fondant icing, then measured flower paste icng for the two top sheets, for the very shiny gold i used Golden Rose made by edible art, this powder was made into liquid using edible painting solution. this cake went down well with my son's school and ive made a few more as christening cakes .
