I made this cake for my best friends husband. His nickname growing up was "Giligan." I made the cake as a half sheet, and then surrounded it with molded rice crispy treats to give a slanted island effect. Then it was covered with fondant. the blue water's edge was also fondant. the SS minnow and the hut were made from molded rice crispy treats covered in fondant. the trees, large rocks and the ships wheel were made from fondant.
