Oh my where to begin, well I made my first Bird of Paradise flower, first 5 tier cake. Okay so picture of flower is of them drying, well the weather has been crazy and wouldn't you know it 96% humidity oh yes they wilted. I spent the entire night trying to save them. Then wouldn't you know it the cake was weeping, I could not get anything to work for me. I was so proud of the flowers and the stacking of this huge cake, but to see moisture rolling off the sides made me want to cry. The last time I had this much of an issue was 2 yrs ago in August. I really questioned why I was insane enough to do this. Top middle and bottom, 6, 10, 14" were chocolate peanut butter fudge with strawberry filling and the 10 had chocolate kahlua mousse. The 8, 12" were white chocolate almond with bavarian cream filling. I think I will have a good weep now. TFL!!
