This is a Rock-n-Roll drum set cake made for an 11 year old boy whose party theme was Rock-Roll. It is a 9" & 2-6" side drums; made using MMF fondant. This is the first time that I've attempted to stand a cake on it's side and I had several complications, the biggest being the cake sagging and tearing the fondant. So I had to change the original placement of the two smaller drums going from slightly forward to the back sides to help hide and hold up the Bass drum. The red and the black is all hand painted including the skull logo on the front of the bass drum. The drum sticks were also hand painted to look like wood. I really wanted to short myself on the amount I charged for this because of my mistakes but as soon as the customer saw it and was wowed by it, I accepted full payment. Cost = $70
