This cake was a surprise for a friend's mom who was turning 60! Her favorite place is Norwegian Bay in Green Lake, Wisconsin, where her family has a lake house. She said they pull right up into the sand bar and relax and play all day, so this is what I came up with. House is RKT covered in modeling chocolate, trees are sugar cones covered in BC, sand is crushed Nilla wafers, pussy willows and cattails are chocolate wrapped around painted spagetti and rolled in colored sugar (for the fur!), boat is modeling chocolate and the rest is combo of fondant, modeling chocolate.
