This is a cake our pastry team did for a cake competition. We won people's choice. Everything is chocolate, different patterns for the tiers, and all the candies are all edible. The cups separating the tiers are just for support, so not edible (although the cup on top is made out of gumpaste). we had it on a turning cake turntable, so it slowly spun around. We did lots of decorations for the table that were also made out of chocolate. it took us about 4 days to make everything and get it all assembled. the cake is styrofoam, but we had to present a real top tier to the judges, so our flavor was chocolate cake, caramel cream, with homemade salted toffee chunks.
