My 5th cake. I made it for my moms 64th birthday. Top is Rice Krispies Treats (RKT). Bottom is 2 yellow cake layers (soaked with Copa de Oro Coffee Liqueur) with cream cheese filling on top of 2 chocolate cake layers with raspberry filling. Both covered with butter cream and homemade marshmallow fondant (MMF). Bottom cake is 8in. and carved. Decorations are made from MMF & Tylose powder. Gold and pearl luster dust. The design is inspired by some of Colette Peters and Margaret Braun's gorgeous cakes. It took me many hours to finish it. First time making ribbon roses, curlicues & swirls, wavy cake, RKT.
