This is a Monster truck / Monster Jam cake i made for my friend. Her 2 boys had a double birthday party. The cake is chocolate and yellow cake mixed with Indydebi's Crisco buttercream. My first time using that buttercream i loved it.. The monster trucks are toys with smashed hot wheel cars. I melted chocolate chips and poured on the cake for the mud and crushed Oreo cookies for the dirt. I removed the icing from the Oreo cookies first. I printed out flags and covered with clear tape on the front and the back before cutting them out so they would stand straight and not bend. I also added tooth picks to the back so they would stick in the cake and still be sturdy.
