Dark Chocolate Cake (recipe from the back of the Hershey Special Dark cocoa box) with Marshmallow Twinkie-style filing and vanilla buttercream for my Grandmother's 85th birthday. These are my first royal icing flowers, it was just too hot to make them in buttercream, no matter how thick or cold it was. I have a TON to learn about royal, it made me crazy!!! Anyway...
