This is a cake my made for my sister-in-law. The "table" is lemon cake with cream cheese icing covered in homemade MMF. I painted the sides to look like wood, and stenciled over the "tablecloth" with the Damask stencil in royal icing. The teapot is a lemon cake covered in lemon buttercream. I made the handle and spout and parts for the lid from fondant with tylose powder added in, which I painted with gold luster dust. The vines are fondant, and the violets are royal icing. The tea cup is gumpaste. The best part was that I got to join in eating it!
