I used the birthday invitation for inspiration for this design. The lace design was stencilled on by sponging on petal dust mixed with vodka. If I'd had more time and a larger budget I would've done some extra design on the top but I like how the flower stands on it's own as well. Chocolate layer cake with strawberry preserves and vanilla buttercream.
