A two-tiered cake for a little girl who loves polka dots. Invitation was simply polka dots and the mom wanted the cake to coordinate. Polka dots of multiple sizes and colors adorn this vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. And a big fondant "2" and thin bow tops it off.
Thank you all for your comments. As for the ribbon, just used thin strips of fondant that I looped over and glued them all down w/ bc. wrapped the twirls around chopsticks to make them curly.
