This cake was inspired by one here on CC This is for a lady my daughter worked with at the Apple. We offered to do his son's b'day cake since things were tight for the young mom. Then she tells us for 50 people. I was exhausted when this was done, but she loved it and I had fun with my daughter doing this. Deviled food chocolate bottom layer, vanilla top layer, with buttercream icing. Cup cakes are all yellow cake, smash cake is a layer of chocolate and yellow. I had left over chocolate! The cake is leaning I know and I've got a bulge in the smash cake. I used a different recipe on the smash one and it was so moist it settled after I took it out of the oven. I am learning.
