All buttercream. Dont think I had heard of fondant back then. This is our wedding cake. the two center tiers with stairs leading down to the 2 heart shaped cakes with photos of our sons on them. Center cake had glass church and the topper was a carriage with little bear figures by it. Long time ago, a lot of memories, and oh my the lessons learned! LOL
