Cross Birthday Cake
Yellow cake with lemon curd filling. 11x15 sheet cut to make cross. I really liked the effect of the sweet pea border, but I originally intended for the two-toned/striping effect to be more balanced around the cake. However, when it was finished, I kind of liked the fading effect I created from dark to lighter.
Beautiful cake ! What tip did you use for the bottom border ?
I used one sheet cake and then cut it only. I made all the cuts before I filled it. I used tip 104 for the bottom border -- just a basic sweet pea border, but it got a little challenging when I got to the corners! :)
