This is Mothers Day cake for a client who wanted me to make a cake that represented everything that her mother loved. Her mother is a big horse fan, so she sent me pictures of their own two horses as well as a picture of a little white rabbit they had growing up. She wanted all of them to be incorporated into the cake along with wildflowers. This is a Ginger Spice Cake with Blackberry Buttercream Filling. It is decorated with vanilla buttercream. The characters are all made from gum paste and the fence from fondant. Every single bit is edible! I had a lot of fun making this cake for my client and hope that she and her mother enjoy every bit of it!
