I made this cake for my mom's birthday, which also fell on Mother's Day this year. I blatantly took the overall design look from Lexia's cherry blossom cake. She is truly the talent here. :)

The apple blossoms were made using the blossom kit sold by Jennifer Dontz. I used wire through the center of the blossom, and used yellow royal icing to help adhere and for the appearance of stamens. I used green floral tape, and brown ribbon (couldn't find brown floral tape in time) for the branch.
