This cake was for a confirmation, but the design would really work for any religious event (first communion, baptism, etc). This was a 1/3 sheet cake and it was dark chocolate fudge cake with buttercream icing and filling. The flowers are made of royal icing and the cross was piped on with buttercream. The design for the cross was inpired by a similar cross that I saw on a cake on this website (sorry I'm not sure of the person's name).
