This is a small three tier Tinkerbell cake that I made for my neices 1st birthday. It was my first time working with fondant, and I hadnot read anything on how to use it, other than watching Food Network (lol). The cake is a vanilla cake with rainbow sprinkles inside. I made fondant leaves and buttercream flowers. Again, I had no idea how to make flowers at the time, so I just kinda plopped them on there. The cupcakes are vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and flowers. The center of some are chocolate covered pomogranate seeds. The fairies and the bugs are toys, and the grass around is edible Easter basket grass. First time...not that bad. The baby enjoyed it! And thats all that mattered!
