For some reason it seems like I'm always struggeling with time on my cakes. This time the gold metallic color didn't want to dry on the gumpaste balls (yes, I handrolled them). So putting them in place was a messy, sticky job and end result not as well as I had hoped for. Chocolate butter cake with cream/oreo filling. Fondant cover, gumpaste decorations. Next time I will start earlier. Promise.
