A birthday cake for a good friend. 8 & 10 inch cakes covered in buttercream. Polka dots are modeling chocolate. All other decorations are gum paste. This was my first time "quilling" and the flowers were great fun! I saw this cake from several talented folks here on CC & attempted to try my hand at it. Next time I would make my top layer much smaller than the bottom to give it more dimension. TFL
