For a mom and son, sharing a birthday. The mom said "something in spring green for 12-15 persons" and I came up with this design. I used just a touch of electric green food colouring which turned out to be this beautiful green colour. For the flowers I used a combination of blue and purple, for mom and son. Added some little white flowers and filled the hearts with silver sugar balls just to add something different. Two red butterflies with pearl dust represented mom and son and I let the leaves just run of a bit for a playful design. The cake was a beautiful velvet vanilla, very fluffy cake, filled with fresh strawberry cream and accented with fresh strawberries and a strawberry marmelade. Finishing touch with a smooth vanilla buttercream. Decorations in marzipan, all edible.
