Helipops- wow, your cakes are absolutely stunning! But this one is my favorite! How did you do the swirls? If you don't mind, you have inspired me for a design on my daughters grad cake.......great contemporary look that I think the kids will love!

Thanks so much for the lovely words! The wire I used was just 18 gauge floral wire. For the swirls I just cut strips the width I wanted to and then I took the cutter from the back left corner of my strip and ran it down until it turned into a point at the other end of the strip, then I curved it and let it rest for 5-10 min. before placing it on the cake.

You are lovely to say such things, but the original design came I think from Cheescake CO. in CA. Their swirls and things were a bit different and theirs was done in choc. too but instead of white, they did silver and gold painted scrolls and circles, which was very nice:)

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the whole design. THe original design I used was from the cheesecake co. site, and then just sort of did my own thing with it, thanks again:)
