Cookie Disaster

I planned on pretty Easter cookies for my grand daughters. I over baked them and to add insult to injury, I screwed up the royal icing. It was like applying foamy egg white, being not only difficult to work with and full of holes, but never drying properly. Oh well, the thought was there and I threw out the 10yr old meringue powder. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be frugal.
