Gourgeous cake, did you put the cake in the fridge? If you did that would be why your RI flowers melted. I did this with a colourflow and whilst in the fridge it was fine, but after coming out it started to melt. Sigh! No more RI in the fridge ; )
yes that may be the reason. I had to travel 4 hours with this cake. When I got to my location I put it in the fridge until the next day when it was served. Thanks for the tip, I didn't know RI shouldn't be refrigerated once on the cake.
