I have to be honest. I thought a Boston cream pie was a pie or pastry dessert. I was asked to make a Boston Cream Pie for a birthday cake. I had no clue what to do. So I jumped online. I have never made ganache either. I learned that when you mix it it becomes a whipped frosting like icing. So I made homemade vanilla cream filling and filled the cake and then iced it with the whipped ganache then used the warm ganache and poured it over the top. I finished it off with a white chocolate swirl and whipped ganache piping. This was a first for many things. Thanks for looking.
