16Th Birthday Cake
This was for a girl's 16th Birthday. I saw a similar cake from another member here (can't remember who). My client saw the photo and loved it! The cake itself was a 10 inch carrot cake with white chocolate cream cheese filling and orange Italian meringue buttercream. I'll post a picture of the side also.

It looks like a cake from the CUPCAKE CAFE in NYC..lol...how did you get your mums to come out so perky with the italian buttercream?
Yes - ALL Italian meringue buttercream! I LOVE THE CUPCAKE CAFE!!! Their flowers rock! I got my inspiration from them and saw the cake posted by another here. The buttercream is pretty stiff when it's fresh. I piped the mums directly on the cake, instead of transfering from a flower nail.
Just stunning!! And what a great picture. You must have a super duper camera. Excellent job!
