I made this cake for a friend, who was turning 21. She had just qualified as a Ballet Teacher, so wanted a cake with "used' looking ballet shoes on it. The cake was Mocha Mud cake, and it is all fondant icing, including the shoes. Was pretty pleased with the result, especially as I had no idea how to make the shoes!! I just started playing and eventually got them looking like they were used. =)
