My daughter did not want a regular barbie cake...it had to have the leg out for the famous pose from the movie...I did my best. It was not perfect but it worked out. I cut a notch in the cake and placed barbie in after the frosting and before the fondant work. I used layers of fondant to make her skirt "petal like" which helped with working around the leg. Flowers, slipper and banner all fondant as well.
