9" and 7" cakes iced in SMBC with fondant decor. I was given the birthday girls quilt and was asked to incorporate that design into the cake, exact colors and all. I had a hard time achieving the dark plum color, but thankfully the color matched up nicely. Inspiration came from inspireddecorator's blossom garden cake. There were also 2 flowers in the back of the cake. Fondant decorations were dusted with super pearl luster dust. Everybody at the party went nuts over the cake!! I too, was absolutely crazy about this cake!!
