The red was actually matched to the bride's maid's dresses. The columns were originally 6" to make the cake taller. But the wedding and reception were at a barn with uneven floors. I had to change out the columns to 4" so that the cake wouldn't topple. Fresh flowers completed the decorations for this wedding cake.
