This is a cake I made for my level 1 college course. The criteria was royal icing flood work, square cake and at least two styles of royal iced piping. I'm not happy with the bodies on the butterflies and these are just resting on the cake so will redo them with ivory bodies. I wasn't happy about this units criteria but am thrilled with the outcome. It's a rich fruit cake with marzipan and sugarpaste.
