This Treasure Chest Cake was make for a wedding shower. it was a beach theme shower, with a hidden gifts for the bride to find, so they ordered a tresure chest for the cake, the cakebase is decorated with buttercream icing, and is trimmed out with fondant to give it the chest theme. the lid of the chest is foam, covered in buttercream and fondants. all of the hardware on the chest is make of fondant. the jewels, crosses, and bars of gold, and seasheels are all made out of white chocolate that has been colored and pured into molds. the cake is finished off with brown sugar around the bottom, to give the beach look.
