Domed black and white cake with a slightly tapered middle, fondant roping and draping, stenciled damask pattern, run in sugar striped fan shaped pieces with hand molded ball finial. This was created for a formal benefit. Tiers are a 15" petal bottom and 2- 3layer 8" rounds (for a height of approx. 12"), carved to a slight taper in the middle, with 8" round and half ball top tier. Roping is hand rolled fondant from black and white strips. Ruffle accents are piped black royal icing.
