WOW! This cake is amazing! Great Job!
I want to see what's going on inside lol :)
How did you do the trim on top?? I've tried to make them before but failed miserably. This castly is perfect.
Cyndi, I used a border cutter to make the top. I think it's FMM, but I don't remember and didin't save the packaging.
diane...great job...can you tell how the drawbridge and the grass were made?...thanks!
thanks for the nice compliments! harrison - the drawbridge is a piece of gumpaste. I used a wooden slat impression mat, but you can't really see it. The 'ropes' are gumpaste. The bridge is resting on a big blob of fondant. For the grass, I first piped random blobs of icing to give a hilly effect, then went over the whole thing with grass tip 233 using 2-toned green icing.
wow :D how long did it take to decorate this beauty :D :D :D
How long did it take? hahaha... my family was out of town, so I was home alone. Needed to do SOMETHING all night! :)
This is off the charts perfection! Unbelievable detail and architecture. Love it Girlie!!
