This is the first carved cake I'd attempted and the second fondant cake. Base cake is a 1/2 sheet plus a 1/4 sheet. It is all buttercream. The guitar was carved from another 1/2 sheet cake and covered in fondant. I used my kids Guitar Hero controller for a template. Cake was about 2.5 feet long. The birthday girl loved it!
