Contemporary Birthday Cake

This cake had a round 12 inch bottom tier (2 layers of cake) with a square 8 inch top tier (3 layers of cake). The cake was vanilla/white cake with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. All covered in fondant with fondant accents/decorations. The bow was also done with fondant, but the 30 was hand formed with gumpaste and then painted with silver luster dust.
