I used fondant to cover and fondant to make the circles.. definitely still a beginner.. and this was a cell phone pictures.. the base fondant was a little bumpy, but overall I thought it was pretty good.. thanks for all the tips and help in creating this! I should also note, it was a chocolate cake with cannoli cream filling :)
