Tulip and rose from yesterdays class with Beth Parvu. This is the class i've been looking for! Great teacher - beautiful colors and flowers!
I love your flowers. Gumpaste always looks very realistic and it should since that's the whole purpose. I'm not a big fan of piped flowers, never been.
Thank you! This is what pulled me into cakes in the first place. I finally found a class!
I am envious! I can not find anyone in my area who teaches gum paste flowers. The Wilton instructor that teaches out here never offers a class!
Grandmasweetiepie told me about a class that wasn't too far from me - 3 Wednesday evenings. I signed up and that's where I heard about this class. The Wednesday class doesn't hold a candle to this one. I know how you feel. I've been looking for a class for two years. I can't even find anyone nearby that is very interested in anything cake.
I cannot believe your flowers, they are just perfect. I finally am able to get on the internet, I was wondering how the class went. I can see it went well. You learned all this in one day. Three weeks and we have not perfected a rose. I made my baby breath, tried to remember how to tape them on the wire.
This class was amazing!
These are gorgeous....I just found a gumpaste flower class in my area to take this month and am very excited...Yours are so realistic, love the texture and colors!
Thank you! You will love it!
May I ask where you are located? I would love to take this class.
I am in Maryland - the class was in Glen Burnine but the teacher was Beth Parvu from South Bend Indiana. Her website is sugarpaste.com.
