Hi There!

I am very new to the cake decorating scene - this is my 4th cake EVER! I used chocolate cake, buttercream, marshmallow fondant, and marshmallows for the packing material. In the past (ha!) I have wrapped my cake board in wrapping paper, but to add to the packing material I just put a sheet of paper between the cake and cardboard.

All of the color you see on this cake was hand-painted by me, with exception of the blue bow. I mixed deep red with a little bit of purple for the wine bottle color. The roses are made of fondant as well! It is my first carved cake, and I wish it had turned out a little more round on the top - but I am happy with it overall!

This was made for a family friend who is moving into a new house!
