This is a topsy turvy, buttercream iced cake with fondant appliques. The top tier is styrofoam. I made this for a small cake competition episode (2 designers) that will be on "Get Married" on WE tv's new season starting in January. It was a mystery bride and we had to make a cake that was young, fun and her colors were bright pink and orange . I was really nervous about doing a cake for tv, but I just LOVE the outcome!
