Wow, I just love Baby Einstein. You did a great job recreating them. Can't wait to see the finished cake.
Great job!! Can't wait to see the cake!
Oh, I wish I could do this for my baby's 1st birthday...I have never used fondant as I do not like the way it taste. Your characters are beautiful!!
Thanks! I realized I missed making one for Baby MacDonald but that won't take me too terribly long. I don't like to eat fondant either. It's not the taste, for me it's the texture. Not very frosting-like. These figures will be stuck in the buttercream on the sides.
I love your figures! and YES the candy melt transfers are a pain! Too many colors! These are great though! I wish I had your talent!
you did a wonderful job!!
I love Baby Einstien and so do my kids!!! LOL These are great!
how tall are your tiers??? looks great!!! what size pans did you use???
Two 8x2 inch pans for the bottom, two 6x2 inch pans for the middle and the top one is two 4x1 3/4 inch pans. The bottom is one cake mix and the top two are one cake mix. I used bake even strips and a flower nail in the bottom two layers. I was nervous about the shape at first but I love it!
Just beautiful and whimsical. How long did it take to make?
Thanks! The cake and icing didn't take long. The figures took about an hour each.
This cake is absolutelt adorable....Great job!!!
