This was my first wedding cake and of course it happened to be on the very hottest day of the year!!! I drove the cake 5 hours to the city and assembled it there only to have to drive another 30 minutes on a very bumpy road to get it to the reception. Needless to say it had a few bumps and bruises but everyone loved it and no one but me noticed the problems.
